Clinicians can clean remove staining quickly with NSK's FLASH pearl powder. NSK FLASH pearl consists of fine spherical shaped calcium-based particles which remove stains and plaque.

Separate chambers, handpieces, and handpiece hoses for supragingival and subgingival procedures eliminate the risk of powder mixing or powder entering the control unit.

The clinician simply attaches the relevant powder chamber, and the unit automatically selects the functions for supragingival or subgingival applications. This prevents selection errors.

The Powder Spray Gently Cleans Subgingival Areas

Separating powder and water during application prevents periodontal damage. Powder flow is directed in all directions to remove subgingival plaque.

Connecting the subgingival chamber automatically lowers the spray pressure to 20% of the supragingival level to guarantee safe operation during subgingival application.

Because the plastic nozzle tip is flexible it can follow tooth contours and is easy to insert into pockets thereby minimizing patient discomfort. The material is semi-transparent to help with visibility. The nozzle tips are sterile and individually packaged for single use.

Applications range from quick biofilm removal to cleaning around dental implants and periodontal pockets. With the nozzle tip removed, clinicians can remove plaque from subgingival pockets of up to 3mm.

Clear display

A clear function display enhances safety and efficiency by enabling clinicians to easily see which programme is in use: supragingival, subgingival or ultrasonic, and the 10 power levels and spray water volume.

The LCD panel offers excellent visibility and contrast and is specially coated to resist powder scratches.

Automatic switching from ultrasonic to powder function

An automatic recognition sensor switches from ultrasonic to powder function when a handpiece is picked up from the holder.

Store previous settings

The system memory can store such treatment parameters as water volume, air pressure and ultrasonic power settings. Simply pick up the handpiece to switch settings.

Easy Maintenance

Auto-cleaning function

Auto-cleaning automatically cleans the handpiece and hose after powder or ultrasonic applications. During the cleaning cycle, the display shows the time remaining to complete the process which takes approximately 45 seconds from start to finish.

Powder function

Following treatment, simply press the auto-cleaning button to discharge water from the hose and handpiece to prevent possible powder blockages.

Ultrasonic function

Press the auto-cleaning button to flush the handpiece, tip and handpiece cord tip. This lowers the risk of corrosion especially when corrosive irrigants have been used.

No more clogging

By keeping the control unit, handpiece and handpiece hose separate the risk of powder blockages inside the unit has been eliminated. The components carrying powder and water are all easily accessible for maintenance and service.
